Our first BASH, in the Bernard Shaw on the 2nd of July, saw us bring together the components of a magazine in 3D! Installations, music, video art, and make-and-do entertained our fans for the evening. The Free Gaff, designed and constructed by Michael Dignam got everyone dishco dancin’ in the comfort of their own make shift free gaff. Paul Maguire’s video piece down a long tube, Sinead Fahey’s moving pictures and Joyce Dunne’s lightboxes had the crowd wandering around the beer garden inquisitively prodding and poking. Hunter Gatherer got us moving with his bleepy beeps. DJs Max Conte, Rory Hyland and Padraig and Annie O'Reilly also played a few tunes. The bash was so much fun we’ve been asked to do more, make it a regular night. So we'll be taking over the Shaw next on the 1st of October for our Oh Fringe wrap up party.
